Pulmonologist Dr Rajendra Prasad conferred with Lifetime achievement award
Lucknow: For his exceptional contribution in popularizing and developing pulmonary medicine in India, Professor Dr. Rajendra Prasad has recently received the Professor MM Singh Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award conferred by the National College of chest physician of India.
Prof. Rajendra Prasad is currently Director of Medical Education and Professor & Head of Department, Pulmonary Medicine at Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital. Prof. Prasad is also currently the Vice President of South Asia Association of Allergy, Asthma and Applied Immunology and Vice-Chairman of the national task Force for the involvement of medical Colleges in the revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP). Prior to this, he was working as Director, Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute (VPCI), Delhi. He has also served as Professor & Head of Department, Pulmonary Medicine, King George's Medical University, Lucknow and former Director, U.P. Rural Institute of Medical Sciences and research, Saifai.
Sanchari Chattopadhyay has pursued her M.A in English and Culture Studies from the University of Burdwan, West Bengal. She likes observing cultural specificities and exploring new places.
