Pune: The counselling process for NEET PG and NEET MDS has begun at Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). The seat matrix and merit list have been released for the same.

Seat vacant -

A total of 151 seats are vacant for both medical and dental courses. Medical has 145 seats, and dental has 6 seats vacant. The medical seats are available at AFMC Pune, Army Hosp (R&R), Delhi, INHS Asvini, CH (EC), Kolkata, CH (WC), Chandimandir, CH (CC), and Lucknow, CH (AF), Bangalore. Whereas dental seats are available at AFMC, Pune, and Army Dental Centre (R&R), Delhi.

The merit list has been released for Medical Priority – III, Medical Priority – IV, and Dental Priority – IV. A total of 42 candidates are there in Medical Priority – III, Medical Priority – IV has 80 candidates and Dental Priority – IV has 3 candidates. The merit list includes AFMS Merit, NEET Roll No, Name, and All India Rank. The detailed merit lists are enclosed in the notice below.

The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a leading medical training institute in Pune, India, in the state of Maharashtra. The college is managed by the Indian Armed Forces. Established in May 1948 as a post-graduate teaching institution. The institution primarily imparts training to medical undergraduates and postgraduates, dental postgraduates, nursing cadets and paramedical staff. Patient care forms an integral part of its training curriculum. The institution is responsible for providing the entire pool of specialists and super specialists to the Armed Forces. The college is also involved in conducting research in various medical subjects as well as those aspects which would affect the morale and performance of the Armed Forces both in war and peace.
