Gujarat: The Admission Committee for Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC), Gujarat, has begun the first-year MD, MS and Diploma admissions 2026-27 academic year registration process.

The admission process covers Government, Management and NRI quota seats in MD/MS/Diploma courses offered by government and self-financed medical colleges in Gujarat. Candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026 and fulfil the eligibility requirements prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and Gujarat State admission rules can apply.

According to the schedule issued by the committee, candidates can purchase the online PIN until 3:00 pm on October 8, 2026. The deadline for completing online registration and uploading the required documents is 5:00 pm on October 8.

Document verification and submission of photocopies at the designated Help Centres will be carried out from 10:00 am on October 3 to 4:00 pm on October 9, 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-

For online registration, candidates have to purchase a PIN by paying a total of Rs 28,000. This includes Rs 3,000 as a non-refundable amount and Rs 25,000 as a refundable security deposit.

Candidates will also have to take a prior appointment for document verification and submission of photocopies at a Help Centre. While printing the registration slip, they can select their preferred date, time and Help Centre for verification.

The committee has clarified that completing the online registration alone is not sufficient. To complete the registration process, candidates must visit the Help Centre with their required certificates and registration slip.

NRI candidates have to complete an additional step after submitting the online application. They must submit a Demand Draft of Rs 25,000 as a non-refundable processing fee in favour of “ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar.

The Demand Draft must be submitted at the office of ACPUGMEC & ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. Document verification and submission for NRI candidates will also be carried out only at the ACPPGMEC office at GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.

Candidates requiring guidance regarding registration or subsequent admission procedures have been advised to approach the Help Centres. The list of Help Centres is available on the admission committee's official website.

The committee has further stated that all information concerning the admission process will henceforth be published only on the Admission Committee's website, and candidates have been advised to check it regularly for updates.

1 Final year attempt-wise MBBS / marksheets.

2 Copy of NEET-PG Marksheet of current academic year.

3 Internship completion certificate on or before 30/09/2026.

4 Provisional Registration of State Medical Council OR Medical Council of India (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of State Medical Council OR Medical Council of India (In case of old pass out candidates).

5 Document showing Date & Place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate).

6 For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

7 For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

8 For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

9 Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign.

10 12th Marksheet (For candidates who have done MBBS outside Gujarat).

11 Domicile certificate of Gujarat State: For candidates who have done MBBS outside Gujarat (only if birthplace is outside Gujarat).

PREPARATION AND PUBLICATION OF MERIT LIST

After registration process, ACPPGMEC will prepare and declare merit list of all eligible candidates. Candidate needs to verify merit number and category as mentioned in registration details.

ONLINE CHOICE FILLING & ALLOTMENT OF ADMISSION

1 After merit declaration, choice filling will be initiated online for each round.

2 After the choice filling period is over, the ACPPGMEC will process for allotment of seats and declare the status of allotment on the website. The candidates can view their status of allotment by login to their own User ID.
