New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), has issued a notice asking Postgraduate counselling candidates of the academic year 2025 whose security deposit refunds remain pending to submit a declaration form and a duly notarised affidavit to facilitate the refund process.

The notice also includes a list of candidates whose refunds could not be processed due to issues such as account closure and failed NEFT transactions.

According to the notice, candidates whose names appear in the enclosed list are required to submit a declaration form in the prescribed format, duly notarised on court stamp paper, to initiate the refund of their security deposit. The completed affidavit must be emailed, with a copy marked. MCC has advised candidates to complete the process at the earliest to avoid further delays.

The committee has also cautioned that incomplete or incorrectly submitted documents may delay the processing of the refund.

As per the prescribed format, candidates must furnish the following details-

1 Name, parent/spouse details, roll number, NEET application number, counselling year and the amount of security deposit claimed.

2 Declaration that they participated in NEET-PG 2025 counselling and paid the security deposit.

3 Confirmation that the refund has not yet been received.

4 Acknowledgement of the counselling rules governing refund and forfeiture of the security deposit.

5 Request to MCC to refund the security deposit to the bank account provided in the affidavit.

Additionally, the candidates must also enclose the following supporting documents along with the documents mentioned above-

1 Copy of Aadhaar Card.

1 NEET admit cards bearing the roll number.

3 Details of the bank account from which the security deposit was paid.

4 Details of the bank account to which the refund is to be credited.

5 Scanned copy of the passbook or a cancelled cheque of the refund account.

The notification also contains a list of candidates whose refunds could not be processed. The reasons cited include account closure, closed beneficiary account, NEFT return due to closed account number, customer-generated NEFT return and other bank-related transaction failures.

MCC has urged all affected PG 2025 candidates to submit the required affidavit and supporting documents promptly to enable processing of their pending security deposit refunds.
