Registration Process For NEET PG, NEET MDS admissions Under Management Quota in AP to end on August 14, apply now
Vijayawada: DR. YSR University of Health Sciences is soon going to end the online registration process for NEET PG and NEET MDS admission for the academic year 2023-24 under the management quota.
The candidates need to apply by 05.00 PM on 14-08-2023. For PG Medical, the candidates need to use the link https://pgmq.ysruhs.com/ and for PG Dental, https://mdsmq.ysruhs.com/. Applications are invited for admission in Un–Aided Non–Minority and Minority Private Medical & Dental Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
The dates of exercising web options for admission into PG Medical & Dental courses will be notified later. Commencement of classes will also be notified later. The admissions will be closed as per NMC/DCI, New Delhi Rules & Regulations.
The entire Application process is through online mode only, including uploading of Images, scanned copies of Certificates/documents and payment of fees, etc., Therefore, candidates are not required to send printout of the application form/verification form, etc., to the University. No offline applications will be accepted.
Printout of the application form, and provisional verification form, along with original certificates, should be submitted at the time of admission in the allotted college.
If a candidate is found to have submitted false information or concealed any relevant information, such candidate is liable to be disqualified for admission, and in the case already admitted, the admission will be canceled. Further disciplinary action against him/her will be taken by the University/respective institution. Legal issues, if any, shall be under the High Court of Judicature for the State of Andhra Pradesh.
If the candidate has a Medical qualification equivalent to MBBS/BDS (Primary Medical/Dental qualification) from outside India, the Degree should have been recognized by NMC/DCI for enrolment as a Medical/Dental Practitioner in India.
Candidates must pay the equivalency verification fee as specified in the regulations along with the registration fee. The fee, once paid, will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date. Therefore, candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly before applying to determine merit.
The registration & processing fee, including 18% GST –
For candidates completed their MBBS/BDS Degree from Dr.YSR UHS, Vijayawada/KNRUHS, Warangal/(Padmavathi) SVIMS, Tirupati/GIMSR, Vizag - Rs.7080 (Registration fee Rs. 3500 + 18% GST & Processing fee Rs.2500 + 18% GST).
The registration fee, processing fee & equivalency fee, including 18% GST –
For candidates who studied outside the AP/TS State and Abroad –
The candidates who acquired their MBBS Degree outside the AP/TS State shall pay Rs.10620 (i.e., Rs.3500 + 2500 + 3000 and 18% GST)
The candidates who acquired their MBBS/BDS Abroad/Foreign Country shall pay Rs.15340 (i.e., Rs.3500+ 2500 +7000 and 18% GST)
Process of online application –
1. Open the website mentioned above.
2. Registration Form appears in which Candidate has to give the details to register.
3. Enter the OTP received and click on Submit.
4. The candidates will receive a successful message at this stage.
5. The candidates can log in to the application using their User Id / Login Id, NEET Roll No, and Password. Click on the Login button after entering the required fields. Click Forgot Password in case you forgot the password.
6. The candidates will be redirected to the payment gateway page. Please complete the payment as per the preferred mode.
7. After successful completion of payment, the candidates will be redirected to the Payment Status Page. Please take the printout of this page for future reference of payment status. If the Status is failed, please pay the amount again and proceed.
8. The candidates need to fill in all the necessary fields, upload photos & signatures and click submit button.
9. After clicking on submit, the candidates will get a preview of the data entered by them. Please check the details and proceed if they are correct. Edit if necessary.
10. After entering the details, click on Register Button
The list of documents required at the time of admission –
1. Copy of Original Degree/Provisional certificate of MBBS/BDS (Mandatory)
2. Copy of MBBS/BDS study certificate (Mandatory)
3. Copy of the Compulsory Rotatory Internship certificate (Mandatory)
4. 6th to Inter/10+2 study certificates for the candidates who have completed - MBBS from Govt. Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada/BDS from Govt. Dental College, Vijayawada/Govt. Dental College, Hyderabad
5. Copies of Temporary/Permanent Medical Registration from the respective State Medical/Dental Council (Mandatory)
6. NRI Sponsorship Letter (Sub-Category-2 as per Annexure-II).
7. Proof of documents to be submitted - Declaration (given in Annexure-II in the Prospectus) signed by both the candidate and NRI along with evidential documents such as Green Card/Citizenship Card/Bank Statements/Passport issued by the respective Country/Electricity Bill/Gas Bill/Water Bill (Visa/Driving license are not accepted)

The candidates should secure the following cut-off scores in NEET PG-2023/ NEET MDS -2023 conducted by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, as per section (10) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Management Quota Seats shall be as per G.O.Ms.No.70, HM&FW (C1) Dept., Dt: 03-05-2017 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.75, HM&FW (C1) Dept., dated 06-05-2017, G.O.Ms.No.57, HM&FW (C1) Dept., dated 28-04- 2023 and G.O.Ms.No.102, HM&FW (C1) Dept., dated 15-07-2023 in case of Non-Minority Medical Colleges.
Eligibility for Management Quota seats in Non-Minority Medical Colleges -Sub Category-1 (S1) -
1. 15% of Subcategory-1 seats only are open to candidates from all over the Country.
2. For the Remaining 85% of Subcategory-1 seats, only Local Candidates of Andhra Pradesh, i.e., AU/SVU, are only eligible.
Local Area - The entire state of Andhra Pradesh shall be treated as two local areas for the purpose of admissions into Post Graduate Courses in Medical and Dental Colleges,” i.e., Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University (including SVIMS) areas for filling up the 85% of Sub category-1 (S-1) seats in private un-aided Non-minority and Minority Medical and Dental Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
Foreign Students/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates are eligible for Category – C (NRI Quota - Sub Category-S2)
Candidates sponsored by the Managements of Private Medical/Dental Colleges having Post Graduate Courses in Andhra Pradesh State are eligible for Category – C (Institutional Quota - Sub Category-S3) in the college which sponsored his/her candidature. The requirements for the Institutional Quota are –
1. The candidates who have completed MBBS/BDS in that particular Institution.
2. Employee of that particular Institution and the employee should have a minimum of 6 months experience in that particular Institution and presently working as of the date of application in the same Institution.
In the case of Minority Medical Colleges
50% of Seats in each specialty in each college are Management Quota Seats.

2. Management Quota Category – B (S1)– 25%,
3. Category – C (NRI- S2) – 15%
4. Category –C (Institutional Preference – S3) – 10%.
Duration of course -
The duration of PG Diploma courses is 2 years, and PG Degree courses are 3 years from the date of commencement of the course. In case of students having a recognized two-year Post Graduate Diploma course in a subject selected for a PG Degree in the same subject, then the period of training, including the period of examination, shall be two years. If the break of study is more than three months, the candidate has to apply (vide Annexures-V & VI) to the University through the Principal/Dean of the college. The University can give permission to the candidate to complete the course as per Rules based on evidence produced by the candidate for the break of study.
Number of seats under management quota –
The number of seats available for the academic year 2023-24 in Post Graduate Medical and Dental Degree/Diploma Courses in Private Un-aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical and Dental colleges will be in accordance with the orders of the NMC/DCI/GOI/Govt. of AP.
The Seat Matrix for Management Quota seats will be displayed on the University Website (https://drysr.uhsap.in) before notification for web options.
Seat Matrix shall be prepared as per the following G.Os -
1. G.O.Ms.No.70, dt.03-05-2017 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.57, dt.28-04-2023 of the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh (for Non-Minority Medical Colleges only).
2. Management Quota- Subcategory 1. -- 25% of the sanctioned intake of seats, course-wise, in each of the member institutions shall be filled by the candidates based on the NEET PG-2023 ranking.
15% of Subcategory-1 seats only are open to candidates from all over the Country. For the Remaining 85% of Subcategory-1 seats, only Local Candidates of Andhra Pradesh, i.e., AU/SVU, are only eligible.
Management Quota- Subcategory 2:-- 15% seats out of total intake capacity, course wise, in each member institution, shall be filled by foreign students/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates on the basis of inter se merit among the applicants qualified in NEET PG-2023.
Management Quota- Subcategory 3:-- 10% seats out of total intake capacity, course wise, in each member institution, shall be Institutional preference/In-service management quota seats filled on the basis of inter se merit among the applicants qualified in NEET PG-2023.
Senior Residency - All the candidates admitted into Management quota seats in unaided private Medical/Dental colleges, on completion of their Postgraduate course, shall work for one year as ‘Senior Resident’ in the institution where they pursued postgraduate courses.

There are a total of 1772 seats available for PG Medical and Dental courses. PG Medical has 1399 seats, and PG Dental has 373 seats.

Merit lists -
The Merit Position of the candidates who have applied online in response to the notification issued by Dr.YSR University of Health Sciences for Management Quota Seats shall be determined by NEET PG–2023/ NEET–MDS–2023 Ranks and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable regulations, guidelines.
The University will release the final merit position of eligible candidates for exercising web options after verification of uploaded scanned certificates by Dr.YSR UHS, Vijayawada.

University fee -
All the selected candidates shall pay the Non – Refundable University Fee of Rs.49600 for Medical & Dental courses.
PG – Medical& Dental Courses -
Tuition fee for PG Medical and Dental Courses in Private un-aided Minority and Non- Minority Medical and Dental courses will be as fixed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Admission rules –
The last date of joining of selected candidates will be communicated to them in the letter of selection.
All the candidates joining the Post Graduate degree/diploma courses should execute a bond on a stamped paper of Rs. 100 value as prescribed in Annexure-IV to the effect that he/she will complete the prescribed period of training or, in default, pay Rs.300000 + 18% GST to the University and shall refund the amount received as stipend up to that date to the Government as notified by the University from time to time.
As per G.O.Ms.No.67, HM&FW (C1) Department dated 21-04-2017, candidates have to pay the discontinuation penalty of Rs. 300000/- + 18% GST, and they will be debarred for three years for admission into Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses at the colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh for admission into PG Medical courses subject to receipt of orders from the Government if any and as notified by the University from time to time.
