AP appoints 6 new Principals, 5 Superintendents at Govt Medical College Hospitals
Vijayavada: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh Health Department has appointed new principals and superintendents at several government medical colleges and hospitals across the state.
Altogether, six government medical colleges got new principals, while five government teaching hospitals received new superintendents. Among these, three new principals were appointed to fill vacant posts, and three existing principals and one superintendent were transferred.
The reshuffle follows the promotion of eight professors to the position of Additional Director of Medical Education (ADME). The Health Ministry said that promotions were based on performance, while transfers were made in consideration of health reasons and personal requests.

As per a TOI news report, Dr. K.V.S.M. Sandhya Devi, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and acting Principal of Andhra Medical College (AMC), has now been made the full-time Principal of AMC.
