Mumbai: In an unfortunate incident, a first-year resident doctor from the Department of Radiology at Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his hostel room on Tuesday, reportedly due to mental stress and depression, police said.
According to the official, the deceased, a 26-year-old resident doctor, had been suffering from mental stress and depression for the past few months and was under treatment, news agency PTI reported.
