Unfortunate: AIIMS Raipur Assistant Nursing Superintendent died, 14 injured in road accident

Raipur: In an unfortunate incident, a tempo traveller carrying 15 passengers including 13 Nursing Officers of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur, Chhattisgarh to Jagdalpur on a personal trip met an accident today at around 6.30 AM near Bhanpuri, Jagdalpur.

One Assistant Nursing Superintendent (ANS) Sumesh. C (35 Years), was declared dead on the spot. Two nursing officers are admitted at CHC, Bhanpuri while the other 12 are admitted to Jagdalpur Medical College.

Out of them, Shrilaxmi (28 Years) and Rohini Suresh are currently being operated. They are currently stable and out of danger.

AIIMS, Raipur is providing every necessary help to bring back injured Nursing Officers and other passengers. AIIMS, fraternity expresses its deep condolence to the family of the deceased.
