UP NEET aspirant dies of heart attack
Uttar Pradesh: In an unfortunate incident, a minor, who was preparing for the NEET exam, recently died of a heart attack in the Rampur area of Khekra town in Baghpat.
The incident occurred while she was studying in her room. She suddenly fell ill, suffered a heart attack, and died on the spot.
The medical aspirant was the daughter of a doctor, who runs a nursing home in the city. Late Monday night, when her brother, went to her room and he found her lying unconscious under the bed. Alarmed by his sister's condition, he shouted and immediately called his mother. Her mother rushed to the scene and found her drenched in sweat and lifeless. However, the family did not request a post-mortem examination.
According to the Bhaskar Media news report, the student had passed her 12th-grade exams last year and was preparing for the NEET exam to gain admission to an MBBS program. Her sudden death has left her family in shock, and a pall of gloom has descended over the entire area.
Following the tragic death of a NEET aspirant, a senior doctor at Astha Nursing Home on Delhi Road, expressed concern over the incident. He stated that heart attacks were previously uncommon in people under 40, but this problem is now rapidly increasing among young people.
According to him, continuous stress, irregular routines, high blood pressure, and changing lifestyles are the main causes of heart attacks in young people. He advised young people to eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and avoid stress to prevent serious illnesses.
Last year, Medical Dialogues had reported a similar case where a medical student died of a heart attack in Kazakhstan, where he was pursuing his MBBS degree. The medico has been identified as 21 year old, a resident of Alwar, Rajasthan.
