AIIMS INI CET July 2026 round 1 seat allotment results declared

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has announced the first round of seat allocation results for admissions to MD, MS, MCh (6 years), DM (6 years) and MDS courses under the INI CET July 2026 Session.

The institute-wise and subject-wise allotment list has been released for candidates who participated in the first round of online counselling for admission to various Institutes of National Importance (INIs).

According to the result notification, the first-round allocation has been prepared based on candidates' INI-CET merit ranks, reservation criteria and choices filled during the online counselling process.

The result includes seat allotments for postgraduate medical and dental programmes offered by AIIMS campuses, JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru, SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram and other participating Institutes of National Importance.

The notification contains a comprehensive rank-wise allotment list indicating candidates' overall ranks, categories, allotted specialities, institutes and the corresponding category/roster points.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1 This list includes all qualified candidates who were eligible for the 1st round of seat allocation. Those who didn’t register for seat allocation have been marked NR/NP.

2 Candidates who did not participate/register in the 1st round of seat allocation are NOT ELIGIBLE for the 2 nd round of seat allocation but can participate in the open round of seat allocation, if any.

3 Based on the certificates (OBC/EWS) uploaded by the candidates as per the Prospectus, the preliminary verification of the validity of the certificates has been done. Accordingly, candidates who had uploaded valid certificates (OBC/EWS) have been considered in the claimed category and candidates who did not upload valid certificates or uploaded invalid certificates (OBC/EWS) have been considered as the UR merit list.

4 For the 2nd round, the order of the seat allocation process will be based on the merit order used for the 1st round (including institutional preference seats), with no further change for the eligible candidates for the 2nd round.

PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED BY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED PG COURSE/SUBJECT IN THE 1ST ROUND OF SEAT ALLOCATION

All candidates who have been allotted a seat (Institute & Subject/Speciality) in the 1st round of seat allocation are required to log in through the portal by visiting the official website of AIIMS New Delhi and actively exercise one of the following options by 5.00 PM on 30th June, 2026.

Failure to select any of the options below will lead to forfeiture of the allocated Institute & Subject/Speciality, and the candidate will become ineligible to participate in the 2 nd round-

OPTION 1 ACCEPT allotted seat and do not participate in further rounds of seat allocation.

OPTION 2 ACCEPT allotted seat and want to participate in the 2 nd round of seat allocation.

If a candidate upgrades his/her seat in a further round of online seat allocation (including Open Round) of INICET July 2026 Session, he/she is required to complete the tenure at the upgraded Institute. In this case, previous allocation/joining will not be considered for tenure/experience.

POLICY REGARDING THE DEPOSITING OF DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES/Rs 3.00 LAKHS

The claim to the allotted seat by candidates is subject to verification of original documents for eligibility, as applicable, as well as identity verification of the candidate. If a candidate fails to submit all required certificates (original) along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificate OR self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only in the name of the “AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT” his/her candidature shall stand cancelled, the seat offered in 1st round shall be vacated for next round and he/she will not be allowed to participate in the 2 nd round of seat allocation process. However, the candidate will be eligible for the open round of seat allocation, if any.

DOCUMENTS

List of Documents/Certificates that are required to be deposited in Original along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates OR self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only in the name of the “AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT”.

i) Offer Letter (From MyPage after logging in),

ii) Seat allocation Slip (take a print after online acceptance of the allocated seat (Institute, subject/speciality)).

iii) Final Registration Slip (From MyPage after logging in).

iv) Admit Card issued by AIIMS (From MyPage after logging in).

v) Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd and 3rd Professional Examinations.

vi) MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate.

vii) Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate will be completing the 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 31st July, 2026, for all INIs.

viii) Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Council.

ix) High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth. (Matriculation).

x) The Candidate should also bring the following certificates, if applicable
