NTRUHS to close round 1 web options window for BDS admissions 2026 on September 15

The counselling will also be conducted for Special Categories i.e., PwBD, PMC, CAP and Scouts & Guides seats available in the following colleges-

1 Seats available (after contributing 15% of seats to All India Quota) in Government Dental Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh, affiliated to Dr. NTRUHS.

2 Category ‘A’ seats (50% of Intake) in Private Un-aided Non-Minority Dental Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh, affiliated to Dr. NTRUHS.

3 Category ‘A’ seats (50% of Intake) in Private Un-aided Minority Dental Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh, affiliated to Dr. NTRUHS.

According to the notification issued by the Dr NTRUHS in this regard, the Phase-I of web-based counselling for admission into BDS course under Competent Authority Quota will end on 10.00 AM on 15 September 2026.

IMPORTANT NOTE

1 All the candidates whose names are present in the displayed merit list are eligible to exercise web options through online as per the schedule notified hereunder.

2 All the Eligible candidates are informed to exercise their prioritized web options for maximum number of colleges preferably All Colleges in order to increase the probability of getting a seat allotment. There is no limit on the number of web options. Therefore, candidates can give their web options for all the eligible colleges in the order of priority.

3 A mere exercising prioritised web option under this notification does not confer any automatic right to secure admission into BDS Course.

4 The candidates who are eligible for special category seats (i.e. PwBD, CAP, Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) & PMC categories) are informed to exercise their prioritized web options alongwith other colleges duly verifying the seat matrix displayed on the website for the colleges where the respective special category seats are available. The special category seats also will be filled in the 1 st phase counselling except the seats earmarked for NCC and Sports & Games categories which will be filled after receipt of Final list of eligible candidates from the concerned Departments.

5 The seat allocation will be done as per the procedure given in G.O.P.No.646, Education (w) Department, dated 10.07.1979 and its subsequent amendments.

6 Candidates are cautioned that if a seat is allotted and the candidate is later found ineligible, the allotment will be automatically cancelled without any notice.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1 All the eligible Candidates can exercise web options for all the eligible colleges as per the order of priority. The candidates are advised to exercise options for maximum number of colleges preferably all dental colleges as per their order of priority as below-

2 Candidates are advised to go through the “Instructions on Counselling Procedure” to know the various details on exercising web options, the categorization of Area and Categorization of Candidates in relation to area, fee structure upgradation rules etc. which is available in the University website.

3 Area-wise Seat Matrix is displayed on the University Website for information to exercise the Web options.

4 Candidates are also advised to go through the prospectus and the Government Orders on Rules of UG admissions available in the University Website before exercising web options.

5 Candidates are instructed to be careful while exercising options on the web. Onetime Password will be sent to the registered mobile and mail at the time of entering and submitting web options.

6 Candidates are advised to go through the User Manual for exercising web options available in the University website.

7 Candidates are advised to complete the Web Options process well within the notified schedule to avoid last minute delay for any reasons.

8 The web options, once submitted, are final. No request for change of options or order of college priorities will be entertained after closure of above said web options schedule. The same options will be considered for allotment of respective special category seats also.

9 Candidates are instructed to compulsory take the printout of the saved options.

10 It is the responsibility of the candidates that their individual login details, email ID, and OTPs should not share with any other person. The candidate is totally responsible for the misuse of the same and also for web options exercised from his/her login.

11 The web options for the colleges in the order of Priorities have to be exercised before each phase of counselling (as per G.O.102) as per the schedule notified by the University. Hence, candidates are informed to regularly watch the University website for updates/ counselling notifications.

12 Allotment of seats will be done to the colleges, subject to the affiliations granted for the Academic year 2026-27.

13 Candidates will receive the message to their registered mobile after allotment of seat, if a seat is allotted. The candidates are instructed to visit the website for status of allotment after closure of web options. The University is not responsible for non-receipt of messages due to network issues non-working/ non-availability of mobiles etc.

14 Candidates who have been allotted a seat shall report at the allotted college along with Original Certificates within the reporting schedule by downloading the allotment order on payment of University fee of Rs.12,600/-. The University fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances. If a candidate has not joined/reported in the allotted college of Phase-I counselling, he/she shall not be eligible for opting the same college in the next Phase(s) of the counselling. The Joined candidates of Phase-I Counselling are eligible for upgradation/sliding to better college up to Phase-III (Mop Up) round only.

15 The Tuition fee is as fixed by the Government of AP for the academic year 2026-27.

16 Verification of all original certificates will be conducted at the college of admission and in case of any discrepancy or found ineligible, the provisional allotment will be cancelled without any notice and action will be initiated as per University regulations.
