Doctor couple murder case: Rajasthan police nabs key accused
Jaipur: The prime accused in the spine chilling murder case of a Bharatpur's doctor couple, who were shot dead in broad daylight by two bike-borne miscreants, was arrested on Sunday, an official said.
Three other accused -- Daulat Gurjar, Nirbhan Singh Gurjar and Mahesh Gurjar -- involved in the murder conspiracy were arrested earlier.
Anuj Gurjar (21), the prime accused, was nabbed on Sunday while he was going to meet his girlfriend in Bharatpur.
A reward of Rs 5,000 was announced for information leading to the arrest of Anuj, Bharatpur IGP Prashan Kumar Khamesra said in a statement.
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that two bike-borne assailants had shot a doctor couple dead in Bharatpur, Rajasthan on May 28. The incident had taken place in Bharatpur's Neemda Gate area and was captured in a traffic camera.
In the video, the assailants are seen stopping the doctor's car at Circular Road near Central Bus Stand. When the doctor slowed down his vehicle near an intersection and rolled down the car's window, one of the attackers adjusted the pistol concealed under his white shirt and nonchalantly pulled out his weapon and started shooting.

Police told PTI, the doctor couple and his mother were jailed in November 2019 in a murder case of a woman and her five-year-old child. The doctor couple was arrested in connection with the case and was out on bail.
Anuj is the brother of the woman who was murdered in November 2019. He reportedly killed the doctor couple to avenge his sister's murder.
The woman and her five-year-old child were killed after their house was set on fire. The doctor allegedly had an affair with the woman and he, along with his mother and wife, was suspected to be involved in setting the house ablaze, the police had said.
