JIPMER conducts its MD, MS, MDS, PDF, PDCC entrance exams, 10,776 candidates appear on exam day
According to a JIPMER release, a total of 10,554 out of the 16,357 (65 pc) registered candidates appeared for the MD/MS/MDS seats and 222 out of the 318 (69 pc) registered candidates appeared for the 22 PDF/PDCC seats.
Puducherry - The Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) entrance examination for admission to MD/MS/MDS and PDF/PDCC course for the July 2020 session was held on Sunday in 105 cities (133 centres including 5 in Puducherry).
According to a JIPMER release, a total of 10,554 out of the 16,357 (65 pc) registered candidates appeared for the MD/MS/MDS seats and 222 out of the 318 (69 pc) registered candidates appeared for the 22 PDF/PDCC seats.

Considering the COVID 19 situation,Jipmer was made the command center with live streaming from all examination centers .Iris scanners were used to capture biometric information of all the candidates and the entire entrance examination was video recorded.
The examination result will be declared on or before June 27 on the Jipmer website www.jipmer.edu.in .
