172 candidates debarred from Andhra NEET PG 2026 counselling: NTRUHS releases list

As per the notice issued by the NTRUHS in this regard, the restriction covers two groups, i.e., candidates who were allotted PG medical seats during the NEET PG 2025 Stray Vacancy rounds but failed to report, and candidates who discontinued their PG medical courses after joining.

Overall, the notice identifies 172 candidates as ineligible, comprising 21 candidates who did not report after Stray Vacancy allotment and 151 candidates who discontinued their courses.

Dr NTRUHS stated that Andhra Pradesh conducted two Stray Vacancy rounds for NEET PG 2025 with a condition that candidates allotted seats in these rounds who failed to report to their respective colleges would be debarred from admission to medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh for one academic year, 2026-27.

Accordingly, 21 candidates who received seats in the Stray Vacancy rounds but did not report have been declared ineligible for AP State NEET PG 2026-27 counselling under both CQ and MQ.

The list mentioned in the notice provides the candidate-wise details, including NEET roll number, rank, score, name, gender and whether the unreported allotment was under CQ or MQ. Of the 21 candidates listed, 12 are marked as CQ Stray Not Reported and 9 as MQ Stray Not Reported.

The university has further cautioned that if any candidate appearing in this list applies for AP NEET PG 2026 counselling, the application will be summarily rejected before publication of the Final Merit List.
